Dr Hayden Waterham is an obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist. You can find Dr Hayden at the Epworth Freemasons doing egg collections or at No.1 helping with embryo transfer. He is in private practice at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Mercy Hospital for Women, and a sonologist at Royal Women’s Hospital.
Hayden graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery from The University of Sydney in 2006. He completed his resident medical training at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Western Hospital and Wangaratta Base Hospital and began formal training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Mercy Hospital for Women. Advanced training was completed at Royal Women’s hospital with a focus on high-risk pregnancies, ultrasound and laparoscopic surgery. Hayden completed a diploma of diagnostic ultrasound (DDU) in 2017. Hayden’s long-term professional goal has been to provide women and their families with the highest quality, evidence-based safe and continuous care throughout life. He strongly believes in being open and honest. He takes patient privacy seriously and acknowledges and manages patients by seeing them in the context of their professional, extended social and family life.
Hayden is married to Dr. Michelle Waterham has four children. He is bossed around by his daughters and identical twin sons. Homelife gives him perspective, humility, builds his resilience and stamina, and is his greatest joy.
