Dr Paul Berlund Joins the No.1 Fertility Consulting Team
We are delighted to welcome Dr Paul Berlund, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, to the No.1 Fertility consulting team.
Paul is already well known to many of our patients through his work at No.1 Fertility, including oocyte pickups, embryo transfers and early pregnancy care. Now, following increasing patient demand, Paul will also be consulting with patients at No.1.
For patients, this means greater access to an experienced specialist who understands fertility treatment, gynaecology and pregnancy care, and who is known for taking the time to explain things properly.
Fertility care with the whole person in mind
Paul’s approach is centred around thoughtful, individualised care.
For some patients, that may mean discussing IVF or egg freezing. For others, it may mean investigating conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis or fibroids that can affect fertility or quality of life.
Paul also brings significant experience in early pregnancy and obstetric care, which can provide valuable continuity for patients as they move through different stages of their reproductive journey.
He regularly cares for women with straightforward and more complex pregnancies, including those with pre-existing medical conditions, multiple pregnancy, previous caesarean section and severe hyperemesis.
Paul also provides compassionate care for miscarriage, recurrent miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.

Fertility treatment can involve a lot of information, decisions and uncertainty, and Paultakes the time to explain the options clearly so patients can understand what is happening and feel comfortable with the decisions they are making.

Paul is a graduate of the University of Queensland and completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.
