Patient support

Our nurses and counselling staff endeavour to provide you and your partner with supportive and empathetic care using a co ordinated team approach. Our specialist nurses are aware of the many layers (both physical, emotional and financial) of treatment and appreciate the value of kindness and empathy when guiding you through this often difficult process. We also know there are many ways to make a family and that all genders, partnerships and alliances are welcomed at No.1 Fertility. Supportive counselling is often required whist in cycle and our team are happy to refer you for further assistance if required. We have our No.1 Donor Team who can also assist with the donor process..

Our nurses

No.1 Fertility are aware of your need to be able to contact our fertility nurses frequently during your cycle. For this reason, we have grouped out clients (by surname) into smaller teams that allow more direct and consistent contact with nurses. We will allocate you to either Amber, Emerald, Ruby, Lilac or Sapphire.

We aim to answer your concerns in a timely and concise way. If we are unable to give you an immediate response or if your query requires a doctor’s review, we may take a message and always ideally get back to you within the day. Please note that alongside phone interactions, you are always able to access your portal with specific up to date cycle instructions when you have commenced with your Day 1.

Medical Records

Our Medical Records Team will send a Consent to Release Medical Information Form to the patient. They must complete this and return it to us.

The request will be handled in accordance with the requirements and timelines set out in the Health Records Act 2001 (VIC). The processing time for medical records is up to 45 days.
