What is IVF?
IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) involves combining eggs and sperm outside the body, with embryos grown in a lab for five days. It’s used for a range of fertility issues, including unexplained infertility and conditions like endometriosis, or by those needing donor sperm.
The process starts with ovarian stimulation tailored to individual needs to produce quality eggs, monitored via ultrasound. After maturation, eggs are collected and fertilized using techniques like Natural IVF or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), depending on the case.
