No.1 Fertility on the Road: Kicking Goals Beyond the Clinic
At No.1 Fertility, we believe conversations about fertility shouldn’t be confined to the consulting room.
That’s why we’re launching No.1 Fertility on the Road, a community initiative taking fertility education into workplaces, sporting clubs, universities and community organisations across Melbourne and Sydney.
Our goal is simple: to make conversations about fertility more accessible, informative and part of everyday life.
And what better way to kick things off than with the Melbourne Demons AFLW team!
Kicking Goals with the Melbourne Demons
Dr Lynn Burmeister recently spent a fabulous afternoon with the Melbourne Demons AFLW players, sharing insights into fertility, egg freezing, IVF, donor sperm and reproductive health.
For women balancing sporting careers, professional ambitions and personal goals, understanding fertility and the options available can be an important part of planning for the future.
It was an opportunity to ask questions, share knowledge and have open conversations about a subject that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
And, of course, Lynn couldn’t leave without having a kick herself.
The result? A goal kicked in Valentino wedges!
Who says you can’t kick goals in heels?
Bringing Fertility Conversations into the Community
Fertility is something that affects people at different stages of their lives, yet many don’t think about their reproductive health until they’re ready to start a family.
Through No.1 Fertility on the Road, we want to change that.
Our fertility specialists are getting out into the community to share information, answer questions and help people better understand their reproductive choices.
From egg freezing and fertility preservation to IVF, donor conception and reproductive health, we’re making these conversations easier to access.
And importantly, we’re making them approachable, relaxed and informative.
We’d Love to Visit Your Organisation!
Following our wonderful afternoon with the Melbourne Demons, we’re inviting other organisations to get involved.
Are you part of a sporting club, business, university or community organisation?
We’d love to bring No.1 Fertility on the Road to you.
Our specialists can provide complimentary fertility education sessions tailored to your organisation, covering topics such as:
• Understanding fertility and reproductive health
• Egg freezing and fertility preservation
• IVF and assisted reproduction
• Male fertility
• Donor conception and family-building options
• Fertility myths, facts and common questions
Whether it’s a workplace wellness event, sporting club gathering, university information session or community initiative, we’re happy to explore how we can contribute.
There’s no obligation and no pressure — just an opportunity to learn, ask questions and have an open conversation.
Let’s Get the Conversation Started!
We’d love to hear from organisations interested in hosting a No.1 Fertility on the Road session.
Simply contact our team and tell us a little about your organisation, where you’re located and what topics you’d like to explore.
Our team will be in touch to discuss the possibilities.
And Finally, Thank You, Demons!
A big thank you to the Melbourne Demons AFLW team for welcoming Lynn and making our visit so memorable.
We wish these incredible athletes every success in the finals.
And as for Lynn, we’re not sure whether the Valentino wedges will become part of her regular football kit!
