Eve Glage Victorian Laboratories Manager
Bachelor of Biomedical Science (La Trobe University)
Health and Care Professionals Council State Registered Clinical Scientist (UK)
Eve joined No.1 in 2019, working closely with our Scientific Director to oversee the daily functions of the laboratories. Eve is passionate about client care and education, wanting to ensure clients have the best experience and interaction with the laboratory teams.
Eve began her career in 2003, completing initial training at Melbourne IVF. Her desire to learn and passion for travel took her to the UK, working as a senior embryologist at Hammersmith Hospital and later joining IVI RMA, the world’s largest reproductive group, as their London Laboratory Director. During this time, she was fortunate to work with their UK, Spanish, and American laboratories. Eve gained valuable quality management experience working under the UK’s Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and developed a passion for training and scientific communication, presenting at national and international conferences and events.
Returning home, Eve initially settled in Sydney. She joined Genea as a laboratory manager, looking after a large team of embryologists and collaborated with the R&D department to implement new ‘World-First’ laboratory technologies. Eve then moved into a clinical operations and project management role, overseeing the construction and completion of a new IVF clinic from building plans to clinical practice.
Eve jumped at the chance to return to a laboratory-focused role in Melbourne, as her heart remains in the lab! She is passionate about sharing knowledge and translating research into clinical practice, to improve treatment outcomes for our clients.
