Kavya commenced her laboratory life as a research assistant at the University of Adelaide, investigating methods of detecting and treating ovarian cancer, before completing her post graduate studies in embryology.

Kavya joined us at No.1 in 2020 and is passionate about connecting with her patients and ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their treatment.

Her recent research work investigating the effectiveness of various mineral oils (an essential part of the culture system that helps protect the embryos from the outside environment) found some very interesting results, which have already impacted our clinical practice and are to be presented at the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand annual meeting.
