What is Egg Freezing?

Egg freezing is a fertility preservation method where a woman’s eggs are harvested and stored for later use. This allows women to preserve their younger, healthier eggs for future pregnancy. The process involves stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, which are then extracted.

The eggs are then quickly frozen using a technique called vitrification, which prevents ice crystal damage, maintaining their viability for future fertilisation.
